INTRODUCTION

Thank you for agreeing to participate in the 10DaysTogether! You are joining with hundreds of believers to raise a canopy of non-stop prayer over the Front Range of Colorado with the goal of seeing measurable, positive change in our region in each of seven spheres of society: Government, Church, Family, Marketplace, Media, Arts/Entertainment and Education.

In 1975, God simultaneously gave the same message to Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth with a Mission and Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ. The essence of this message is summarized by the following statement from Os Hillman, “If God’s children are going to impact any nation for Jesus Christ, then they will have to affect the seven spheres, or mountains of society, that are the pillars of any society.”

This Prayer Guide provides bulleted prayer points to guide you during your prayer time(s). Additional prayer points will be provided in the coming months for each of the 7 spheres. Don’t feel confined to the prayer points in this Guide. Please pray as the Lord leads you. As you pray, we encourage you to take the posture of Eph 2:6 which says that we rule and reign with Christ in the heavenly realms, as Christ in us. In this position of authority, we have the right to declare the Father’s will to Earth: to speak God’s will into every situation. God desires that we call those things that be not, as though they were. (Matt 21:22 and Rom 4:17). This Prayer Guide is written from that posture….declaring God’s will into each sphere of society. This Guide assumes that you are praying for one hour. You can pray all of the following prayer points during your prayer time or focus on any one or more of the spheres in of your monthly prayer time.

PREPARATION:
Get your bible and a notebook/pen.
Set yourself apart from distractions.
Play soaking music if that helps you focus on the Lord.

5 - 10 Minutes- PRAISE GOD

Tell God what He means to you and how much you love Him. You may want to sing a song. Declare the attributes of God. He is Jehovah. He is infinite. He is omnipotent. He is good, He is love. He provides. He is peace. He is immutable, He is transcendent. He is just. He is holy. He is our healer. He is omnipresent. He is merciful. He is sovereign, He is our banner. He is wise. He is faithful. He is wrathful. He is full of grace. He is our comforter. He is the Almighty. He is father. He is the head of the Church. He is our intercessor. He is Master/Lord. He is our strength.

Personalize Ps 100 as you pray it out loud. Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; I now come before Him with joyful songs. I Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made me, and I am his ; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. I now enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; I give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Read Ps 145 out loud - Thank Him for how He has operated in your life and answered prayers.

10 – 15 minutes - PURIFY YOURSELF
Unconfessed sin creates a barrier between you and God hindering the effectiveness of your prayers. (1Pet 3:12). Ask the Lord to show you anything you need to address in yourself that blocks your relationship with Him in any way.

Read Psalm 139 out loud. Focus on the final two verses, 23- 24: “Search me, God, and know my heart. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Pray these verses several times then sit quietly waiting for God to reveal anything you may need to work on, resolve, or seek forgiveness for. Repent for anything the Lord shows you. Forgive anyone and anything that has hurt you in any way – give up being the judge over them (Luke 6:37), give them to Jesus for Him to be their judge and jury.

10 minutes - INTERCEDE FOR YOUR FAMILY
Pray for yourself and each family member.
