Prayer Digest

These Prayer Points are a monthly supplement to the 1Church Initiative Prayer Guide. If you do not have the Prayer Guide, you can obtain it from your church’s prayer coordinator. Feel free to re-use each Monthly Prayer Digest as you are led. Please note that the section for each sphere of society is drafted by a Prayer Trust (strategic prayer team) that meets regularly to pray strategically into that sphere of society. As a result, the tone and style of prayer may vary from sphere to sphere.

1Church Initiative Ministry Prayer Points:
1. Pray for favor with church leaders as we seek to add 32+ churches in each of the 64 counties across all of Colorado (over 1900 churches statewide).
2. For accurate wisdom and revelation for the Prayer Trust Leaders who are laser-focused on each of the spheres covered in this Prayer Guide.
3. For protection for the leadership team and their families: Fr. Phil Eberhart, Amy Everette, Jim Hepting, Yolanda & Brian Morris.
4. For wisdom and discernment as we invest in an update to a website to simplify church participation in the 1Church Initiative: www.onevoice4t.org.


Government Prayer Points:
1. Pray that biblical values be upheld in every bill that is presented.
2. Pray that Denver and Colorado bring to light and justice all illegal activities committed in this state.
3. Pray for protection for each government official including senators, judges, representatives and their staff.
4. Pray for equal justice under God’s law for all; including the helpless and unborn according to Psalm 82: 3-4
5. That justice and righteousness will be the measuring line for the laws of Colorado according to Isaiah 28:17.
6. That the fear of the Lord rules and reigns in our justice system according to 2Chronicles 19:7.
7. Pray that bills be passed to protect the unborn. 8. Pray for wisdom for conservative senators and representatives.

Marketplace Prayer Points: 
1. Enlarge the territory of godly businesses. Let them thrive for Your Kingdom’s sake.
2. Allow the favor of God to spread to businesses throughout the region.
3. Use the influence of godly believers to draw others to Christ in the business arena.
4. Expand the vision and purpose of believers to be bold in their faith in the workplace.
5. Expand the reach of godly businesses in the market place.
6. Give wisdom to believers in the marketplace to tap into investors.
7. Release strategies for godly business expansion.
8. For a release of all limitations on godly businesses.
9. For timely land acquisitions for godly businesses.
10. Strategies and empowerment for godly businesses.
11. God’s favor upon every business in Denver.
12. No more injustice in the workplace.
13. Businesses to operate based on kingdom principles.

Arts/Entertainment Prayer Points:
1. That the body of Christ would have discernment regarding the purpose and influence of the arts and Entertainment industry as a tool for the advancement of the Kingdom of God in our region.
2. The body of Christ would choose to walk in love and support Christian art that is highly influential and inspirational to those who would never attend church or otherwise be open to the Gospel.
3. That the Arts and Entertainment industry in our community would become a beacon of light in the darkness and a place of hope and peace.
4. That more movies, music, and all art forms be birthed from the heart of God into His people throughout our region.
5. That those who carry God’s Kingdom in their hearts now find favor and support from the right outlets, gifted team players, investors, and industry experts for their art or entertainment endeavors throughout Colorado and the nation.
6. That the Gospel now reaches further than it ever has through Arts and Entertainment in our community.
7. That all films, music, and mediums used to entertain would begin to reveal the true nature of God and draw people to Jesus in obvious or subtle ways.
8. That God's loving nature is exhibited through art and entertainment in our region acting as a magnet drawing people into to His Kingdom.
9. We declare that any and all schemes to use the arts and entertainment industry as a tool of destruction ravaging the hearts, minds, eyes and ears of children, youth and adults are now nullified, stopped as the love of Jesus Christ begins to pervade the industry.
10. We declare that arts and entertainment in our regions now communicates the message that each person is chosen and created by God knowing and accepting the goodness of their Father

Media Prayer Points:
1. Pray that the media now influences our culture toward godly ethics and morality.
2. Pray that the media stop reporting in ways that contributes to hype and fear.
3. Pray that journalists across Colorado do their best to bring light where there is darkness and truth where there is falseness.
4. Pray that God strengthens and directs the will of all who write and shape the coverage of newspapers, television, radio and magazines in Colorado.
5. Pray that God removes anyone in media who chooses to report anything less than the truth.
6. Pray that God raises up those who are bold to confront evil and injustice, who reject half-truths that deceive and biased words that corrupt.
7. Pray for the promotion and blessing of those who will use the power of their words for good and who bring the respect and integrity of character that honors their profession.
8. Pray for wisdom, honesty and courage for those in media in Colorado who seek Your face.
9. Pray for the restoration of a righteous standard of journalism so that truth might prevail throughout our state.

Family Prayer Points:
1. Pray against the influence of pornography and the Internet on the men, women and children in every Colorado family.
2. Pray for better communication between family members.
3. Pray against bad counsel that the families occasionally receive that does not line up with the word of God.
4. Pray that parents purpose to love their children.
5. Pray that parents teach their children the value of life.
6. Pray that parents teach their children the hope we have in Christ…that no situation is so hopeless to warrant suicide.
7. Pray that parents openly and lovingly discuss deep issues with their children so that nothing is hidden between children and parents.
8. Pray that parents bless their children with abundant joy and love.
9. Pray that parents will teach their children how to know their identity in Christ to ward off any other identity issues.

Church Prayer Points: 
1. Prayer in agreement that pastors and church leaders are laying down all pride, ego, jealousy, envy, and protectionism relative to other churches and leaders.
2. That pastors are embracing, praying for, loving, and supporting other Pastors and their flocks.
3. That pastors across the Front Range are catching and doing the vision of God’s heart by going to other churches and cities to pray for the shepherds and their sheep.
4. That pastors are seeking the face of God alongside leaders and members of other churches in His Body. (Zech 8:21)
5. That THE CHURCH of Colorado receives, loves on, supports, redeems and disciples the despised, the “different”, the homeless, the “riff-raff”, the lonely, the alien, the shunned, the guilty, the shamed, the lowly, the prisoner, the brokenhearted, disenfranchised, marginalized, outcast, foreigner and stranger (Matt 25:35-45)
6. That THE CHURCH maintains and defends the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the poor. Ps 140:12
7. You have seen, for You observe, trouble and grief… You are the helper of the fatherless. Ps 10:14 Let Your CHURCH across Colorado arise to do likewise.
8. You have heard the desire of the helpless… You cause Your ear to hear, to do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may oppress no more. Ps 10:17-18 Let Your CHURCH likewise do justice across Colorado.
9. If we execute judgement and righteousness, and deliver the plundered from the hands of the oppressor and do no wrong nor violence to the stranger, the fatherless and widow, nor shed “innocent blood”, then it will go well with us, our city, and our county. Jer 22:1-5 Let this be so throughout Colorado.
10. It has not gone unnoticed by You that our cities have shed “innocent blood”, defiled our land, oppressed the stranger, mistreated the fatherless and widow, despised Your holy things, profaned Your Sabbath, and forgotten You. Eze 22:1-16 Let Your CHURCH across Colorado repent for these issues and call the people of Colorado back to You Lord God.

Education Prayer Points: 
1. Love. Father, may the students and staff in our schools experience Your love through the Christians they know in profound and authentic ways (John 13:35).
2. Truth. Lord, release truth in our schools. Help students to rightly discern truth and not believe false teachings (Proverbs 23:23).
3. School board. I pray blessings on each school board member (pray for them by name as you have them).
4. Principal. May every school principal recognize and operate in the God-given responsibility he/she has for God’s will for the children who attend the school.
5. Struggling students. Lord, I ask you to encourage those children who are struggling with their studies. Strengthen their minds. Help their teachers and parents know how to help them learn. Empower them to overcome any feelings of worthlessness or shame. (1 Thessalonians 5:14).
6. Violence. Lord, we declare peace be still over every school in Colorado as You stay the hand of violence against the children and staff. We declare that Your love now dismantles any and all plans to bring harm to them. 7. Christian programs. Father, I pray for abundant blessings on programs that bring Christ into every public school. Help the groups who sponsor such programs function according to your Word and in harmony with each other. (1 Corinthians 12:12,13).
8. Christian students. Grant every Christian student who attends our schools wisdom and boldness in living out their faith. Help them share effectively the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ with their classmates (1 Timothy 4:12).
9. A chosen generation. Father, may your kingdom come. From the students at this school, raise up a generation of people who worship you in spirit and in truth (John 4:23,24; 1 Peter 2:9).
10. An open door. Lord, may there be an open door in this school for the gospel to be shared with students and staff. Allow full advantage to be taken of every opportunity to name the name of Jesus (Matthew 7:7; 1 Corinthians 16:9).
11. Church and School Unity. Father, per the model in Grand Junction, we call all Colorado churches and schools to unite and come together in prayer meetings for our children and the issues they face. (Matthew 18:19)

First Responder Points: 
1. Pray for emotional protection…… that the Father would guard their hearts, especially in the face of criticism or anger from others.
2. Pray for vigilance and supernatural revelation as they keep watch.
3. Give them confidence in the abilities you have given them.
4. Pray for protection, courage, strength and deep wisdom as they enter harm’s way.
5. Pray for instant wisdom, understanding and knowledge as they face every crisis on and off the job.
6. Pray for increased skill and effectiveness in every situation bringing aid or justice to others.
7. Pray that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
8. Pray for healthy, loving, supportive family relationships.
9. Pray that their every action and attitude will reflect Christ in every situation.
